Activism

A lifelong animal lover, Kerry went vegetarian at the age of twelve and transitioned to veganism several years later. Her journey into street activism began in late 2018, where she also met her husband, Nigel. Starting out as a volunteer organiser, Kerry quickly grew into a leadership role, becoming the European Regional Manager for We The Free and establishing herself as a professional within the animal rights movement.

Over the years, Kerry has joined campaigns and volunteered for a wide range of organisations, including Humane Society International, Open Cages, Viva!, We Stand for the Animals, and many others.

In 2024, she and Nigel co-founded Be The Alternative—an outreach project focused on public education around veganism and compassionate living.

Kerry currently works for Lady Freethinker, a global non-profit fighting to end animal cruelty through investigative reporting, petitions, and public pressure. Her work combines grassroots activism with digital outreach, and she remains committed to building a more ethical world for animals everywhere.
