Activism

A lifelong animal lover, Kerry went vegetarian at the age of twelve and transitioned to veganism several years later. Her journey into street activism began in late 2018, where she also met her husband, Nigel. Starting out as a volunteer organiser, she quickly grew into a leadership role, eventually becoming a European regional manager and establishing herself as a committed and dependable presence in the animal rights movement.

Over the years, Kerry has contributed to a wide range of campaigns and organisations, offering support in areas such as outreach, public education, fundraising, and creative strategy.

In 2024, she and Nigel co-founded Be The Alternative, a public-facing outreach project dedicated to compassionate living and accessible vegan education.

Kerry currently works for a global non-profit dedicated to ending animal cruelty worldwide. The organisation funds emergency relief for animals in crisis, supports grassroots groups in some of the most deprived and turbulent countries on the planet, pushes for stronger animal-protection laws, and drives public pressure through investigations, petitions, and education.

Kerry’s role includes supporting animal-cruelty investigations and handling supporter communications.
